On Saturday April 29, 2023, from 12-4, Korey Rowswell and Sara Low Handmade are having a moving Pop Up. Korey is moving out of state and Sara is moving across town. There will be all kinds of wonderfully handcrafted items available. Come one, come all to help these artist lighten their load, so they don’t have to move it.

Create a new family tradition by learning Pysanky, a traditional Ukrainian egg dying technique. Beeswax designs are applied to the surface of raw chicken eggs and then dipped in special dyes to create intricate and vibrant keepsakes. Participants will be working with candle flame. Suitable for ages 15 and up. All materials are provided and participants take home as many as they create.

Learn to paint a festive holiday themed watercolor and add a pun for a modern twist, with artist and instructor Kaitlyn Wearden. You will learn wet-on-wet and wet-on-dry techniques for watercolors. You will do a quick overview of hand-lettering and will learn tips for hand-lettering your quote. At the end of class, you will have your own 5x7 watercolor painting to take with you.

Now we don’t usually have snow here in Alabama, but these wintery decorations look wonderful decorating your seasonal home. These garlands make wonderful door decorations or hung across a fireplace, they will brighten up your holiday home.
