In this workshop, taught by Helen Shields, we will explore some of the wonderful art you can create using a gelli plate. Gelli printing is a great tool that can be used to create mixed media art, greeting cards and unique art work that make super prints but also jumping off points for sketchbooks. We will focus on three techniques in particular, taking ghost prints using water based printing inks, acrylic layer building and transfer tape art. In this three hour class, all materials are provided and you will be able to take home all your wonderful experiments and finished papers. Bring along an apron with you as we get messy and creative.
